The reason Mention This Call was created!
We are a mortgage bank that not only wanted to have new customers but understood that if we were to be successful, we had to develop a system to stay in contact with our customers on a regular basis and at a budget we could afford.
As every successful business or salesperson knows that to be successful you have to bring new customers in, build customer loyalty, and create an atmosphere that will keep them coming back and referring others to your business. We, as other successful businesses have discovered, by contacting our customers on a regular, timely basis kept them not only coming back but also referring our service.
We had a very good contact management system in place but found that the mailing costs as a whole were quite prohibitive to implement on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.
Having our sales force call our clients seemed like the best and least expensive means of accomplishing our goal. However, we found that in calling our clients we would become frustrated with busy signals, no answers, voice mail; or we might contact someone who is upset, maybe not with us but just having a bad day. After listening for several minutes to their problems, we would feel bad about making another call; and it would have a negative effect on our day.
We decided that we needed to find a way of contacting our clientele as often as we felt comfortable, sometimes touching them 2 or 3 times a month with current information or specials, or even just wishing them a happy Holiday. Thus, we created MentionThisCall.com.
We have seen an outstanding increase in return customers, referrals and even calls thanking us for calling and keeping them up-to-date.
After over a year of successful use of our system, we expanded it to the point we can offer others this same ability by allowing regular timely client contact needed for success.
Remember the old adage, "Out of site, Out of mind." Well, we don't have that problem any more; it's just the opposite, now we get the calls!
